Terms and Conditions - CATERING

A 50% pre-payment is required upon confirmation to securing your date and confirming the booking.
Payment of the balance is due in no less than 5 days prior to your booking date. If a confirmed booking is cancelled, the following cancellation charges may apply: Notice of 10-20 days or more: Full deposit refunded. Notice of 7 days: 50% of deposit will be refunded. Notice of 5 days or less: Budget Gourmet Catering reserves the right of full payment of cost. These cancellation charges compensate for loss of assumed as well other potential income on specified date, and other cost incurred such as food and labour.

All pricing is shown exclusive of GST unless otherwise specified and does not include delivery charges or surcharge where applicable.

If the staff needs to work longer than initially booked for, overtime will be charged at the applicable rate. Any overtime shall be signed off by client at the event prior to staff departure. An invoice will be issued after the event and must be paid within 7 days of issue.

Request of specific delivery/ pick up times may incur additional charges. All equipment is carefully counted and packed before leaving our premises. Please ensure to check the items that you have received and notify us immediately to report any items damaged or missing. The client is responsible to any lost or damage to equipment and shall be invoiced at replacement cost.

It would be appreciated if all hired items such as platters, cups etc and/or equipment be made available for collection at the pickup location clean and in good condition.

Budget Gourmet Catering is NOT responsible for any theft, damage or loss to any goods that occur in any public areas. The client is responsible for all the loss and damages to the property of the venue where the event is conducted, including & not limited to fixtures, furnishings, goods on premises caused by or arising from any act by the client, the client’s guest or other person attending the event. Any damaged equipment or non-returned items will be charged at full replacement cost.

Budget Gourmet Catering will endeavour to accommodate all with dietary concerns, for customers with allergies or intolerances, Budget Gourmet Catering cannot guarantee completely allergy free meals due to potential of trace allergens in the production kitchen environment and within supplied ingredients.

Terms and Conditions - DELIVERY SERVICE

We offer a delivery across the Gold Coast (within 50kms from Southport).

Please see our delivery charges requirements for zones 1-2-3. Zone 1: 15 – 20 kms $15 delivery fee. Zone 2: 20 – 30 kms $20 delivery fee. Zone 3: 30+ kms – P.O.A

To provide our service BGC requires designated car parking space for our vehicle. Should parking charges/fees apply to the parking area these fees will be charged to the client after the event.

Your quotation is valid for 48 hours from receipt.

Delivery is available 5 days a week between 9am and 3 pm on a weekday and between 8 am and 12 midday on Saturdays.

Please ensure delivery access is always available at your location. If a mobile phone number is provided for contact, please ensure that the mobile phone is switched on. If access is not available at the agreed time of delivery, the driver may have to return at a later time resulting in an additional delivery fee, or the delivery may be cancelled at the discretion of Budget Gourmet Catering. Payment of the invoice will still be required.
